As of Friday morning, officials say AlaskaAir, Ravn and Yute airlines flights have been placed on hold due to the severe weather conditions. 
Earlier today, the National Weather service issued a blizzard warning for the Kuskokwim area, including Bethel, Hooper Bay and Nunivak Island. The effect is expected to last until about 1 p.m.
Ravn had two village flights in the morning and is expecting some incoming flights from Anchorage.
The weather service expects conditions to improve as the day goes on, beginning along the southern coast.
