Anchorage Police Seek Public’s Help In Fatal Weekend Shooting

The Anchorage Police Department is seeking more help from the public to find witnesses to Sunday morning’s fatal shooting that took place outside of the downtown club Platinum Jaxx. Homicide detectives are trying to get into contact with the occupants of a white Jeep Cherokee and a red Dodge 4-door pick up truck who may have witnessed the incident but then drove off. They have received some photos and videos of the event as well but are still hoping to see more. Twenty-seven year old Said Beshirov was killed outside of the club at about 2:45 am on Sunday. No one has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
