The Coast Guard had a busy Saturday in Prince William Sound. The Patrol vessel Long Island towed a pleasure craft with engine trouble from Knight Island Passage to Port Valdez. The 60-foot boat was taking on water when it sent out a distress call. Then another pleasure craft got fouled in a fishing net. That vessel, the 32-foot Naughty Flier, was cut free by a diver from a passing water taxi and headed back to Whittier.
