Federal prosecutors are saying that former state Representative Bruce Weyhrauch is not entitled to recover his legal fees, even though corruption charges against him have been dropped. In a court filing, the prosecutors say Weyhrauch’s plea deal, which involved him pleading guilty to violating state law, is an admission of guilt and therefore bars the reimbursement of more than half a million dollars in legal expenses.
