Ellen Lockyer, KSKA – Anchorage
Two homeless people are charged with killing another. The body of George Steven Brower, 43, was found in a tent near Anchorage’s Chester Creek. The strangling death appears to have occurred while Brower and the two suspects were drinking. Charged are Samuel Mishler, 30, Cynthia Kanayurak-Austin, 35. Both have police records.
