The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is one of the major draws for winter tourism in Alaska. But parts of the trail have also become popular destinations for summer travelers, now that it’s been designated a National Historic Trail. We’ll hear more about the wonders of this 2,300-mile trail system on the next Talk of Alaska.
