Majority of city’s capital project money survives governor’s veto

Yesterday (Wednesday) Governor Parnell signed major state appropriation bills covering both operating and capital expenditures for 2011. In the process, he cut through his line item veto powers he cut 360 million dollars, with well over 100 million dollars coming from Anchorage and the Mat-Su Borough.
