Addressing Alaskans: U.S. – Canada as Arctic Ocean Neighbors

McDorman bookAn expert on international ocean policy and law, Dr. Ted McDorman has participated in variety of projects for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, including the drafting of legislation, conducting workshops and report writing on fisheries and fisheries trade. Since 2000, he has been the editor-in-chief of Ocean Development and International Law: The Journal of Marine Affairs and his most recent book, Salt Water Neighbors International Ocean Law Relations between the United States and Canada was published in 2009. Last week he returned to Alaska for his second visit. His talk, entitled  “U.S. Canada as Arctic Ocean Neighbors – Mostly Cooperation, Some Irritation” was recorded at the Alaska World Affairs Council on Friday, September 25.
