KSKA 'Tweetup': Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

Are you a Twitter user? Would you like to be? Maybe you use Facebook or MySpace or LinkedIn? Did your friends or family rope you into using social media services like these, or have you been using them for years now?

Well, no matter your experience level, you’re invited to gather at the KSKA studios in Anchorage for a casual meet-up — a “Tweetup” — of social media users right here in Alaska.

Please join us this Thursday, January 8 at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Come to the Tweetup to…

  • meet and chat with other social media users in Anchorage
  • get personalized radio and TV studio tours
  • enjoy free snacks and drinks
  • use our free WiFi Internet access
  • learn how to setup your own Twitter account if you don’t have one

We’ll have a few laptops available and everyone is welcome to take pictures, shoot video and even live-blog the event if you like.

We only ask one thing: Please register for the Tweetup by Thursday morning so we can print you a custom nametag and so we can plan to have enough snacks for everyone.

Got questions? Feel free to drop us a line: twitter@kska.org. We’re looking forward to hosting our first social media event and we’re betting on a great crowd!
