Listen to KSKA on your iPhone / iPod Touch

Do you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch?

If so, now you can take KSKA’s live audio stream with you anywhere you and you iPhone or iPod Touch roam with the new Public Radio Tuner app, now available — free — in the iTunes Store.

The Public Radio Tuner works on all iPhones and iPod Touches that have a live Internet connection, either via WiFi or 3G or EDGE. Some station streams with high bitrates (128k or higher) will perform best when using a WiFi or 3G connection. Streams that are 64k or lower will play with any connection, including EDGE. KSKA’s stream is only 24k at this time — so you can listen to KSKA literally anywhere you have either a good cell phone signal or a WiFi connection.

Click here to go straight to the iTunes Store and download the Public Radio Tuner today. Or simply browse the App Store from your iPhone or iPod Touch and search for “public radio tuner” and it will pop right up.

Once you’ve loaded the app, just look for “KSKA FM 91.1 – Anchorage, Alaska” in the station list to get started. And let us know what you think.
