Despite the decline of the US dollar against the euro, Gerard Baker predicts a “stark decline” in the European economy within the next 25 years. US editor and columnist for The Times of London, Baker discussed US – European Economic Relations at the Alaska World Affairs Council in Anchorage on November 9, 2007. Following his talk, members of the Anchorage community posed questions about socialized medicine, the European education system and global warming.
